 3D Modeling

We use state-of-the-art 3D modeling software as a tool to capture the complexities of Existing Roads, Sites, and Structures. This improves the understanding of the aspects of design and the constraints that every design has and allows us to offer a better design;  which translates into saving time and money.  Code compliance is a priority for engineer’s followed by the concern for constructability. However, misinterpretation of design elements is an old time on-site challenge. This results into delayed schedules, tons of RFIs and change orders. During the course of the project of a roadway, if the design project needs any adjustments to vertical curves and grades, adjusting the profile enables designers to immediately see the impact. Other criteria such as constructability, road safety and sustainability also can be evaluated to achieve optimal roadways/buildings designs.

SR-A1A Tidal Flooding Study Animation

The animation was made in ArcScene using data gathered from MicroStation, ArcMap, and HEC-RAS. By inputting
the water elevations from each basin over time, we generated an accurate simulation of the flooding
cycle along A1A.
