SR 417 ( Central Florida Greenway) Orange County Resurfacing From SR 408 to Canal E-4 Bridge

This project is located at the intersection of SR 500 (US 192) and Hollywood Boulevard/Evans Road. The primary purpose of this project was to rehabilitate the existing pavement and to extend the service life of State Road 500(US 192). 

This project consisted of the milling and resurfacing of SR 500(US 192) from MP 12.869 to MP 13.159 in Brevard County, Section Number 70050. The project added an exclusive eastbound right turn lane and a second westbound left-turn lane to the intersection of SR 500(US 192) and Hollywood Road/Evans Road, by widening the roadway. Additionally, a second southbound through and right turn lane was added to Evans Road, with a second southbound through lane added to Hollywood Road. Additional improvements included the construction of a new concrete sidewalk along the East side of Evans Road, the construction of a raised concrete island to provide a dual-right turn free flow lanes and signing and pavement marking enhancements. A bi-directional median was designed along SR 500, multiple driveways were redesigned to provide smooth transitions into the properties, and proposed mast arms were designed to upgrade the signalization assemblies.
